Highlights from Nghe An on May 2nd

* On the morning of May 2nd, the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee held its regular meeting for April 2024. Comrade Thai Thanh Quy - Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, and Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies - presided over the meeting.

* At the meeting, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee unanimously agreed on the principle of issuing a Resolution of the Provincial People's Council on "Amending and supplementing some articles of Resolution No. 11/2021/NQ-HĐND dated August 13, 2021 of the Nghe An Provincial People's Council regulating the nutrition regime and some support policies for high-achieving coaches and athletes in Nghe An".

* In accordance with Decree No. 111/2022/ND-CP, in early 2024, the Nghe An Provincial Treasury refused to pay salaries to some contract workers at several administrative agencies and public service units in the province.

* Starting today (May 2nd), candidates can officially register for the 2024 high school graduation exam. Registration will last until 5 PM on May 10th. Candidates registering for the 2024 high school graduation exam should carefully read the notes from the Ministry of Education and Training to avoid errors.

According to information from Project Management Board 6 (Ministry of Transport) and the construction unit, after 4 days of ribbon-cutting and technical opening, the North-South expressway, Dien Chau - Bai Vot section, has been operating safely and serving the travel needs of people during the April 30th and May 1st holidays.

* After winning the lawsuit and reclaiming the land, it wasn't long before iron spikes, planted by vandals, appeared on the same plot. While authorities were still searching for the culprits, the rice field was allegedly vandalized again during cultivation. This incident occurred in Hanh Lam commune, Thanh Chuong district.
