Road connecting to Phan Thiet Expressway is open to traffic.

The 7.7km Ham Kiem - Tien Thanh road, connecting the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay expressway to the Binh Thuan coastal road, has just officially opened to traffic, surprising many tourists with its shorter travel time and beautiful scenery.

The Ham Kiem - Tien Thanh road project, from National Highway 1 to the coastal road DT719B, passing through Phan Thiet City and Ham Thuan Nam District (Binh Thuan province), commenced in November 2021 and was expected to open to traffic in October 2023. The total investment was approximately 400 billion VND. However, due to land acquisition issues, the project's progress has been delayed several times.
When completed, this section of road will connect to National Highway 1 at the Ba Bau intersection, leading to the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay expressway, and will also connect to the coastal road DT719B, linking coastal residential areas, tourist areas, and La Gi town.
