33 tons of waste were collected and transported after the opening of DIFF 2026.

DNO - On the morning of May 31st, the Da Nang Urban Environment Joint Stock Company announced that it had completed the general cleaning and collection of waste generated after the opening night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF 2026), with a total of 33 tons of waste transported to transfer stations and treatment areas.

From the afternoon of May 30th, Da Nang Urban Environment Joint Stock Company completed a comprehensive cleanup, ensuring urban aesthetics. Simultaneously, the company deployed and operated nearly 80 mobile toilets and over 300 large trash cans at crowded locations to serve residents and tourists during the opening night of DIFF 2026.

Immediately after the Chinese team's performance ended, more than 300 officials and workers, along with various vehicles (garbage trucks, street sweepers, etc.), simultaneously launched an operation. The cleanup was carried out in a "rolling" manner from multiple directions, quickly restoring the clean and beautiful appearance of the streets, bridges, sidewalks, and the spectator area.

In the early morning of May 31st, the company continued to collect waste generated from business activities and daily life of residents and tourists. At the same time, forces also carried out garbage removal along both banks and on the surface of the Han River, including the fireworks display area.

According to the plan, from May 15th to July 15th, 2026, Da Nang Urban Environment Joint Stock Company, in coordination with local authorities and functional forces, will implement a comprehensive cleaning and garbage collection campaign to serve DIFF 2026. This activity aims to ensure a clean and beautiful environment throughout the festival, best serving the needs of residents and tourists.
