* Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh visited the West Sky Social Housing Area in Ecogarden Urban Area, Hue City, consisting of 2 units with a total of more than 1,000 apartments, with an average price of more than 16 million VND/ m2 .
Visiting and presenting gifts to households living in West Sky social housing, the Prime Minister congratulated the families for settling down to start a business, having a new, spacious place to live, with synchronous, modern, convenient infrastructure in the urban area along with commercial and high-end housing segments in the urban area.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh praised Hue City for effectively implementing the direction of the Government and the Prime Minister on social housing development. To date, the city has completed 700/1,200 social housing apartments, reaching over 58% of the 2025 target and plans to build 7,500 social housing apartments in the 2025-2030 period, helping people facing housing difficulties have the opportunity to own a stable place to live; at the same time, contributing to promoting sustainable urbanization.
The Prime Minister requested Hue city to continue to promote, reserve land funds, have preferential financial policies, implement credit packages for both investors and buyers, and rent-purchase social housing, including credit packages for people under 35 years old to buy social housing. Social housing projects must be built to ensure adequate and synchronous infrastructure conditions for transportation, electricity, water supply and drainage, telecommunications, health, education, and cultural infrastructure... at reasonable prices; harmonizing the interests of the people, investors, and the state.

* Also on the morning of July 26, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the delegation visited Nguyen Hoang Bridge across the Huong River in Hue City, which was inaugurated and put into operation in March 2025, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Hue Liberation Day - the 5th bridge connecting the two banks of the Huong River in Hue.
Nguyen Hoang Bridge is a steel arch bridge with 5 spans, 380m long, 43m wide. The bridge has 6 car lanes, 2 motorbike lanes and safety strips in each direction of traffic, with pedestrian lanes arranged at different levels on both sides.
The bridge is equipped with a modern artistic lighting system with many colors, especially the lighting system in the shape of a Nguyen Dynasty parasol placed at the entrance to both ends of the bridge. At night, this lighting system continuously changes color, creating a shimmering, impressive space, illuminating a stretch of the Huong River near the Thien Mu Pagoda relic.
Previously, in April 2024, while visiting and working in Hue, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh inspected the construction of Nguyen Hoang Bridge. The Prime Minister requested the investor, the construction unit and relevant agencies to speed up the project progress to ensure technical and aesthetic requirements, labor safety, environmental protection, and no capital increase...
Revisiting Nguyen Hoang Bridge, the Prime Minister was pleased that his instructions had been effectively implemented; he requested Hue City to continue to effectively exploit the value of this bridge, as well as the value of the Huong River and the land fund on both sides of the river, new development spaces, and development of tourism and night-time economy./.
