In the 2020 - 2025 term, Thuan Hanh Commune Party Committee has led and directed the implementation to basically complete the targets set out in the Resolution.
The socio-economy has developed stably, agriculture has shifted towards clean and sustainable development; infrastructure has been invested synchronously; budget revenue has increased; administrative reform and social security have achieved many positive results. Political security and social order and safety have been maintained.
The work of building the Party and the political system has been focused on, operating effectively and efficiently; inspection and supervision work has been timely and practical. The great national unity bloc has been consolidated, democracy has been promoted and people's trust has been enhanced.
The Resolution of the Commune Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025 sets out 3 groups of targets (including 21 specific targets) on socio -economy, national defense - security, Party building and political system.
Accordingly, the Party leadership achieved and exceeded 16/21 targets, accounting for 76.2% (including 10/14 socio-economic targets, 4/4 national defense and security targets, 2/3 targets for Party building and the political system.
The locality still has 5/21 targets not met, accounting for 23.8% (including 4/14 socio-economic targets, 1/3 targets for Party building and political system).
The Congress promoted democracy, frankly assessed the causes, achieved and unachieved results; from there, drew lessons, proposed solutions to overcome shortcomings and limitations, and built a suitable Resolution for the 2025-2030 term, soon entering into practical life.
The Congress determined that the general goal of the 2025-2030 term is to strengthen the building and rectification of the Party and a clean and strong political system; promote administrative reform, digital transformation, and build a friendly government serving the people.
At the same time, focus on developing green economy, circular economy, digital economy; developing culture - society, contributing to improving people's spiritual life; promoting democracy and the strength of solidarity among ethnic groups; ensuring national defense - security, performing well in foreign affairs, striving for Thuan Hanh commune to achieve advanced new rural commune status by 2030 .
Speaking at the Congress, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Luu Van Trung emphasized that entering the 2025-2030 term, Thuan Hanh commune will officially operate under a two-level local government model after merging the old Thuan Hanh commune and Thuan Ha commune. This is an important time, creating momentum for a new development path, but also posing many difficulties and challenges, especially in the work of organizing, operating the apparatus and effectively exploiting potentials and advantages after the merger.
Comrade Luu Van Trung requested that the Thuan Hanh Commune Party Committee should focus on building solidarity and unity within the entire Party Committee, political system and people. This is the foundation that determines the success of the entire development process.
The work of reorganizing the apparatus and perfecting personnel needs to be implemented urgently, closely, with the right people for the right job; giving priority to cadres with courage, qualities, and abilities, daring to think and act for the common good, putting the interests of the people above all else.
The Party Committee of the commune needs to strengthen the work of building and rectifying the Party and the political system to be clean and strong; combine the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle with the Party's inspection, supervision and discipline work, and consolidate the people's trust in the Party organization.
The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized that one of the key tasks of this term is to concretize the resolution's objectives into clear programs and action plans. At the same time, focus on removing difficulties within the authority; recommend superiors to handle "bottlenecks" in development.
With more than 3,500 hectares of agricultural land, of which about 1,835 hectares are used for growing vegetables and tubers, the commune needs to prioritize building product value chains, supporting farmers in technology transfer, and connecting markets. The locality needs to strengthen cooperation and organize study groups with other localities on developing high-tech agriculture to improve productivity, quality, and product value on the same production land area.
In addition, Thuan Hanh commune needs to continue to pay attention to sustainable poverty reduction, healthcare, education, culture and social security; mobilize investment resources, prioritize the completion of inter-regional transport infrastructure, and create momentum for effective regional linkage development.
Localities also need to promote comprehensive digital transformation in management, administration, provision of public services, and building a transparent and effective digital government. National defense, security, and foreign relations with Cambodian localities continue to be strengthened, maintaining stability in the area in all situations.
Comrade Luu Van Trung believes that the Party Committee, government and people of Thuan Hanh commune will continue to promote the tradition of solidarity, self-reliance, dynamism and creativity to strive to successfully implement the Resolution of the Congress, contributing to the overall development of the province.
