Recently, in the capital city of Quito, the Republic of Ecuador, Ambassador Nguyen Viet Cuong presented the Letter of Credentials of President Luong Cuong to President of the Republic of Ecuador Daniel Noboa, officially beginning his term as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Chile and concurrently to Ecuador.
At the reception for Ambassador Nguyen Viet Cuong after the presentation of his credentials, President of the Republic of Ecuador Daniel Noboa expressed his friendship with the Vietnamese people and highly appreciated the achievements in development and international integration that Vietnam has achieved.
President Daniel Noboa hopes that in the coming time, the Vietnam-Ecuador bilateral relationship will continue to be strengthened in many mutually beneficial areas of cooperation.
For his part, Ambassador Nguyen Viet Cuong affirmed that he will do his utmost to contribute to promoting bilateral cooperation, deepening trust and solidarity between Vietnam and Ecuador.
On this occasion, Ambassador Nguyen Viet Cuong met with Ecuadorian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Humanitarian Affairs Gabriela Sommerfeld. Minister Sommerfeld emphasized that Vietnam is an important partner of Ecuador in the Asia -Pacific region, hoping that the two countries will promote delegation exchanges, especially at high levels, and strengthen coordination at international forums.
Ambassador Nguyen Viet Cuong's presentation of the Letter of Credence from President Luong Cuong to the Republic of Ecuador demonstrates Vietnam's importance in consolidating and developing friendly and cooperative relations with Ecuador, in line with the foreign policy of independence, self-reliance, diversification and multilateralization of international relations, for the benefit of the people of the two countries.
