According to the agreement, Viettel AI and Linker Vision will jointly research and explore opportunities to pilot smart city models that meet the practical needs of Vietnam.
This combination is expected to enable urban solutions to develop image awareness, situational analysis, and real-time decision-making on complex issues such as traffic safety monitoring, public order management, operational optimization, and early risk warning. This is a crucial foundation for cities to gradually shift from a reactive management model to a proactive management model based on data and artificial intelligence.
Viettel's Data and Artificial Intelligence Service Center and Linker Vision also agreed to expand cooperation in several important areas, including co-development of AI technologies such as computer vision, multimodal AI, and predictive analytics; assessing the feasibility of localizing Linker Vision's solutions and optimizing algorithms according to domestic technical standards; and strengthening professional exchange programs and training technical personnel to enhance AI development capabilities for both sides.
Mr. Nguyen Manh Quy, Director of Viettel's Data Services and Artificial Intelligence Center, said: “Collaborating with Linker Vision is an important opportunity for Viettel AI to expand its capacity to develop AI solutions for smart cities, contributing to solving urgent problems in major cities such as traffic, safety, and the environment. This is also a strategic step to help Viettel AI expand its AI ecosystem and contribute to promoting the national digital transformation process.”
Expanding cooperation with domestic and international technology companies continues to be a strategic direction for Viettel's Data and Artificial Intelligence Service Center, playing a role in promoting innovation and accelerating the digital transformation process in Vietnam.
Linker Vision is a technology company based in Taiwan (China), specializing in computer vision, edge computing (edge AI), smart city monitoring and analytics, and the deployment of large-scale AI systems for government and businesses. The company owns the VisionAI platform, which has been applied in numerous markets to solve complex urban monitoring, traffic management, and infrastructure management problems.
