On the afternoon of November 28, the Ninh Binh Provincial Police Party Committee held a conference to announce the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee's Decision on appointing Senior Lieutenant Colonel Cu Quoc Thang, Director of the Provincial Police, to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Provincial Police Party Committee, term 2025-2030.
Attending the Conference were comrade Dang Xuan Phong, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee.

On the side of the Provincial Police, there were Senior Lieutenant Colonel Cu Quoc Thang; comrades in the Party Committee Standing Committee, Board of Directors; Party Executive Committee and Secretaries of Party Committees and grassroots Party Cells.
At the Conference, comrade Nguyen Quoc Toan, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee, announced the Decision of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on appointing comrade Cu Quoc Thang to hold the position of Secretary of the Provincial Public Security Party Committee, term 2025-2030.
In his congratulatory speech, comrade Dang Xuan Phong affirmed that the Provincial Party Standing Committee's appointment of Senior Lieutenant Colonel Cu Quoc Thang to hold the position of Secretary of the Provincial Police Party Committee demonstrates trust and recognition of his capacity, mettle and work process.
The Provincial Party Secretary expressed his belief that in his new position, Comrade Cu Quoc Thang will continue to promote his role as leader, together with the Provincial Police Party Committee to unite and lead the entire province's police force to excellently complete the task of ensuring national security, maintaining social order and safety, serving the socio-economic development goals of the locality.

Provincial Party Secretary Dang Xuan Phong requested the new Secretary of the Provincial Police Party Committee to continue to focus on advising the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and the Provincial People's Committee on programs, projects and solutions to firmly ensure security and safety in the area; effectively implement the Resolution of the Provincial Police Party Congress, contributing to the successful implementation of the goal of turning Ninh Binh into a centrally-run city by 2030.
Speaking at the ceremony, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Cu Quoc Thang, Party Secretary and Director of the Provincial Police Department, expressed his gratitude to the Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee for entrusting him with the new responsibility. He affirmed that this is a great honor but also a heavy responsibility before the Party Committee, the government, the people and the Provincial Police force.

In his new position, he pledged to continue to make efforts, train, inherit and promote the traditions and achievements of the Ninh Binh Provincial Police force; uphold principles, strictly implement the Party's Charter and working regulations; together with the Party Committee and Board of Directors, direct the entire force to unite, overcome difficulties, strive to build a clean, strong, disciplined, elite, modern Provincial Police force, ensuring a secure and safe environment to serve socio-economic development and the peace and happiness of the people.
