On the afternoon of November 28th, the Party Committee of the Ninh Binh Provincial Police Department held a conference to announce the Decision of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on the appointment of Lieutenant Colonel Cu Quoc Thang, Director of the Provincial Police Department, to the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, and the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Police Department for the 2025-2030 term.
Attending the conference were Comrade Dang Xuan Phong, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; and representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department.

Representing the Provincial Police were Lieutenant Colonel Cù Quốc Thắng; members of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, the Board of Directors; the Executive Committee of the Party Committee and the Secretaries of the grassroots Party Committees and Branches.
At the conference, Comrade Nguyen Quoc Toan, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department, announced the Decision of the Provincial Party Standing Committee appointing Comrade Cu Quoc Thang as Secretary of the Provincial Public Security Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
In his congratulatory remarks, Comrade Dang Xuan Phong affirmed that the Provincial Party Standing Committee's appointment of Lieutenant Colonel Cu Quoc Thang as Secretary of the Provincial Public Security Party Committee demonstrates trust and recognition of his capabilities, leadership, and work experience.
The Provincial Party Secretary expressed confidence that in his new position, Comrade Cu Quoc Thang will continue to uphold his leadership role, working together with the Provincial Public Security Party Committee in unity and cohesion to lead the entire provincial police force in successfully fulfilling the task of ensuring national security, maintaining social order and safety, and serving the socio -economic development goals of the locality.

Provincial Party Secretary Dang Xuan Phong requested the new Secretary of the Provincial Public Security Party Committee to continue focusing on advising the Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, and the Provincial People's Committee on programs, projects, and solutions to ensure solid security and safety in the province; effectively implement the Resolution of the Provincial Public Security Party Congress, contributing to the successful achievement of the goal of making Ninh Binh a centrally-governed city by 2030.
In his acceptance speech, Lieutenant Colonel Cu Quoc Thang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Provincial Police, expressed his sincere gratitude to the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee and its Standing Committee for entrusting him with this new responsibility. He affirmed that this is a great honor but also a heavy responsibility before the Party Committee, the government, the people, and the Provincial Police force.

In his new position, he pledged to continue his efforts, training, inheriting and developing the traditions and achievements of the Ninh Binh Provincial Police force; upholding principles, strictly implementing the Party Charter and working regulations; and together with the Party Committee and Board of Directors, directing the entire force to unite, overcome difficulties, and strive to build a clean, strong, professional, elite, and modern Provincial Police force, ensuring a secure and safe environment to serve socio-economic development and the peace and happiness of the people.
