The highest Tet bonus in Ca Mau is only 36 million VND.

According to statistics from several companies and businesses in Ca Mau , the highest Tet bonus for the Lunar New Year 2025 was 36 million VND, while the lowest was only 500,000 VND.

On December 27th, information from the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Ca Mau province indicated that more than 800 companies and businesses have so far reported on their salary situation for 2024 and Tet bonuses for 2025.

Specifically, the average New Year's bonus for 2025 is 1.5 - 5 million VND per person. The highest bonus is 9 million VND and the lowest is 900,000 VND. The average Lunar New Year bonus for 2025 (Year of the Snake) ranges from 3 - 19 million VND, with the highest being 36 million VND and the lowest 500,000 VND. Compared to last year's Lunar New Year bonus, this year's bonus is significantly lower (200 million VND in 2024).

Furthermore, reports from businesses also show a significant disparity in salaries in 2024. The highest salary in 2024 reached 36 million VND/month, while the lowest was 3.9 million VND/month. In contrast, the highest salary in 2023 was over 100 million VND/month.
