Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee pays tribute to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers

On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), on July 26 and 27, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union visited and presented gifts to express gratitude to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in the area.

The delegation visited Vietnamese Heroic Mother To Thi Chieu (born in 1930, residing in Tan Lap ward), who had an only son, martyr Nguyen Manh Tai; Vietnamese Heroic Mother Luong Thi Phuong (born in 1932, residing in Phu Yen ward), who had two children, martyr Tran Minh Hieu and martyr Tran Minh Son, who sacrificed for the Fatherland.

Provincial Youth Union Secretary Luong Minh Tung and members of the working delegation visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother To Thi Chieu.

At the families, Provincial Youth Union Secretary Luong Minh Tung and members of the working delegation kindly inquired about their health and living conditions; expressed deep gratitude for the sacrifices and great contributions of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in general, Mother To Thi Chieu and Mother Luong Thi Phuong in particular, in the cause of national liberation, national reunification, construction and defense of the Fatherland.

Delegation members talked with Vietnamese Heroic Mother Luong Thi Phuong.

He also presented gifts and wished the mothers good health, longevity, and happiness to follow and inspire the young generation to contribute to building a beautiful and prosperous homeland and country.

This is a regular activity to demonstrate the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source", contributing to educating revolutionary traditions and gratitude among union members and youth towards previous generations who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the nation.
