Tien Giang attracts 80,644 tourists during 3-day holiday

(ABO) Tien Giang welcomed a total of 80,644 tourists during the 3-day holiday (from April 30 to May 2, 2025), an increase of 129.7% over the same period last year; of which, international visitors reached 6,786, an increase of 27.6%. Total tourism revenue is estimated at 49 billion VND, a sharp increase of 155.3% over the same period.

Tourists coming to Tien Giang during the 3-day holiday (from April 30 to May 2, 2025) increased by 129.7% over the same period last year.

According to the assessment of the Tourism Management Department under the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Tien Giang province, the province has prominent destinations such as Hung Vuong Square, Thoi Son Islet, Dong Tam Snake Farm, Lien Hoa Pagoda... attracting a large number of tourists, reaching 59,758 arrivals (including 5,773 international arrivals).

The western region of the province, including Tan Phong Islet, Dong Hoa Hiep Ancient Village, Truc Lam Chanh Giac Zen Monastery and Dong Thap Muoi Biosphere Reserve, welcomed 7,439 visitors, including 1,013 international visitors.

Meanwhile, the eastern region of the province with destinations such as Tan Thanh Beach Tourist Area, Sau Hoi Apple Garden and historical and cultural relics recorded 13,447 visitors, mainly domestic visitors.

Overall, this positive result shows the growing attraction of Tien Giang tourism; at the same time, it reflects the locality's efforts in improving service quality and promoting its image to domestic and foreign tourists.
