Military vehicles in position for preliminary review

On the evening of August 27, at Ba Dinh Square (Hanoi), a preliminary rehearsal of the State-level military parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2) took place (mission A80). From 5 p.m., the formations moved to their assembly positions on Hung Vuong, Hoang Hoa Tham, Thuy Khue, Phan Dinh Phung, and Quan Thanh streets.

The preliminary program had the participation of more than 40,000 people, of which more than 16,000 were armed forces participating in the parade. The components included: 4 honor guard groups; 43 groups representing the people's armed forces; foreign military groups; military vehicles, artillery , special police vehicles; 12 mass parade groups; 1 cultural - sports group. In addition, there were groups of honor guards, 29 standing groups and 11 mass groups.

The sea parade was held in Khanh Hoa province, including the Navy, Coast Guard, Border Guard and Military Region 5, with many modern weapons and equipment: command ships, maritime patrol aircraft, anti-submarine helicopters; submarine squadrons, missile frigates, anti-submarine frigates, fast attack missile boats, gunboats; ships of the Coast Guard, Border Guard, Standing Militia Squadron... This content will be broadcast live on screen at the preliminary rehearsal.

At the same time, in the area in front of My Dinh Stadium (Hanoi), 15 105mm ceremonial guns of the Artillery - Missile Command also participated in the preliminary rehearsal.
