On September 23, Military Region 7 held a ceremony to honor the forces participating in the parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, September 2 (mission A80).
Immediately after the Ministry of National Defense issued a Directive on organizing forces to participate in the parade and march at the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, September 2, the Military Region 7 Command identified this as a particularly important political task, a great honor and pride of the Military Region's armed forces.
The participating force consisted of 3 blocks with a total of 732 officers and soldiers: the male paratrooper special forces block, the female commando force block and the female southern guerrillas block. Each block had 244 people, of which 188 soldiers participated in the main formation.

The selection work was carried out seriously, meeting the standards of height, health, age, political background, ensuring 100% of the military force as prescribed. Right from the beginning, the units organized strict training, taking basic training for each individual and each group as the foundation, moving towards training the whole group, ensuring the parade formation was "correct, even, strong, beautiful, and powerful".
During the training process, political agencies promoted ideological education , propagated the great significance of the holiday, launched emulation movements with the theme "Solidarity, responsibility, determination to win", creating a vibrant training atmosphere.
100% of officers and soldiers are deeply aware of honor and responsibility, overcome difficulties, and are determined to complete their tasks. The Military Region also organizes sports events, draws lessons, and promptly rewards outstanding groups and individuals, creating motivation for the entire force to strive.

Military Region 7 carefully prepares forces to participate in parade A80
Logistics and technical support work was carefully implemented. Soldiers were provided with adequate food and accommodation, with a food standard of 240,000 VND/person/day during training and 320,000 VND/person/day during preliminary review days.
100% of the troops were given a health check before entering training, and a medical team was arranged to promptly handle cases of heatstroke and injuries. Military Region 7 mobilized 108 vehicles to mobilize forces, transport from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi, organize accommodation at National Training Center 4 and the Vietnam Ethnic Culture Village, ensuring absolute safety for people and equipment.
On the morning of September 2, at Ba Dinh Square (Hanoi), the forces of Military Region 7 marched in a uniform and resolute formation, fully meeting the requirements of "correct, even, strong, beautiful, and mighty". The images of female commandos, female guerrillas from the South, and male paratroopers of Military Region 7 marching proudly across the stage left a deep impression, contributing to the success of the ceremony.

In recognition of the achievements of the collectives and individuals in the A80 mission, the Ministry of National Defense, the General Department of Politics, the General Staff and Military Region 7 signed commendation decisions for 48 collectives and 702 individuals. At the ceremony, the Military Region 7 Command presented awards on behalf of 8 collectives, 100 individuals and 7 businesses that supported and accompanied Military Region 7.
After completing mission A80, Military Region 7 drew the following lessons: strictly implementing the direction of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense; closely coordinating between agencies and units; paying attention to political and ideological education, building determination and solidarity; carefully selecting forces, training according to the program; and timely rewarding to create motivation, contributing to the excellent completion of the mission.
