Yeya Nhat Ha - Wind Against the Current Happy to be able to act the right "girl": both cool and... "bad"

Yeye Nhat Ha conquered the audience with the role of Lisa - the daughter of the boss Soc Ba Tongue in the movie Gio Nguoc Chieu. Sharing with the THVL audience, Yeye Nhat Ha confided that she spent time researching each scene to convey the full depth of the character.

In Wind Against the Current, Miss Lisa (Yeye Nhat Ha) appears as a distinct highlight in the turbulent underworld . Growing up in luxury, carefully raised and protected from danger by her father, the boss Soc Ba Tongue, Lisa only knew the life of a young lady. However, when she grew up, she gradually saw the dark side of the world her father built, until her father passed away, and Lisa was forced to stand up and take charge of the organization.

Along with the journey to fulfill the mission assigned by her late father, Lisa also experienced many ups and downs in love. Having secretly nurtured feelings for Dang - the boss's adopted son, Lisa was forced to accept reality when she realized that Dang's heart belonged to Chau. On the other hand, Thien also secretly loved Chau - his adopted sister who had been with him since childhood - but only received heartbreaking rejection. It was the sympathy of these two single people that brought Lisa and Thien closer together. From the times of drinking and confiding that they could not share with anyone, they found harmony in loneliness, and then realized that the person in front of them was "the one in their hearts".

Sharing about the role, Yeye Nhat Ha said that what interested her was not the scenes of fighting for affection, but the complex inner life: a weak Lisa who can become strong to protect her brother, a fragile young lady who does not lose the temperament of a "boss's daughter", ready to take on the responsibility left by her father. Yeye Nhat Ha also admitted that she liked the character Lisa who became "cool" and a bit "mean" when facing Binh and using "his own stick to beat his own back" with his plan.

One of the interesting details in the recent episode is the scene where Lisa recklessly sets a trap for Binh to find evidence to expose his true face. The scene made a strong impression because of Lisa's determination and extremely "cool" reversal of the situation. Behind that, both Yeye Nhat Ha and Doan Minh Tai had to "sweat profusely" to bring the scene as the director intended. The Hue -born actress revealed that during the 45-minute countdown, she and actor Doan Minh Tai sat down with director Nguyen Quan Minh to calculate every detail, from arranging props to how to pull out the knife to create the strongest effect. Finally, to create the scene with the best effect, the crew had to negotiate with the hotel to have more time to shoot. After the scene, Nhat Ha could not hide her excitement when she saw Miss Lisa really "fight back" in an impressive way.

Before coming to Gio Nguoc Chieu, Yeye Nhat Ha had made her mark through many films broadcast on THVL such as Tham Vong Giau Sang, Dap Cap So Phan, Roi 30 Nam Sau... Each role left a different nuance, but in the character Lisa this time, the audience easily recognized a mature, individual and powerful image.

As the film enters its final stages, the knots of love, power and justice will be revealed one by one.
