Tien Phuoc mobilized nearly 13 billion VND in savings to join hands for the poor

(QNO) - On the afternoon of May 6, the Board of Directors of the Tien Phuoc District Social Policy Bank summarized the first quarter policy credit activities and awarded the peak period of the emulation campaign "Saving money to join hands for the poor" in 2025.

As of March 31, 2025, the total capital allocated to the Transaction Office of the Social Policy Bank (CSXH) in Tien Phuoc district was over 639 billion VND. Loan turnover in the first 3 months of the year reached over 68.6 billion VND; debt collection turnover was over 40.4 billion VND. Currently, there are 8,111 customers with outstanding debt.

In the first quarter of 2025, 896 customers borrowed capital from social credit programs to create jobs, invest in production, and develop the economy . The total outstanding balance of credit programs as of March 31, 2025 reached more than 611 billion VND, an increase of more than 28 billion VND compared to the beginning of the year, reaching 100% of the assigned plan.

Up to now, the total outstanding debt entrusted through the district's unions is more than 608 billion VND, accounting for 99.6% of the total outstanding debt at the district's Social Policy Bank, with 203 savings and loan groups lending to 8,061 households; overdue debt is 306 million VND, overdue debt rate is 0.05%.

Regarding the peak period of mobilizing "Saving money to join hands for the poor" (from January 1 to March 31, 2025), by February 28, the whole district had exceeded the set plan, reaching more than 12.9 billion VND/9.06 billion VND assigned by superiors (142%).

Of which, the District Women's Union mobilized more than 6.2 billion VND, the Farmers' Association mobilized more than 2.1 billion VND, the District Youth Union mobilized more than 1.1 billion VND, and the Veterans' Association mobilized nearly 3.4 billion VND.

On this occasion, 6 groups were awarded by the Director of the Quang Nam Provincial Branch of the Bank for Social Policies for their outstanding achievements in mobilizing "Savings to join hands for the poor" in 2025.

Tien Phuoc district's unions and associations commended 12 groups and 3 individuals for their good performance in the peak period of the emulation campaign "Saving money to join hands for the poor".
