Accordingly, through monitoring the situation on social networking sites, Tan Thoi Hiep Ward Police, Ho Chi Minh City discovered and reported to the Ward People's Committee regarding a Facebook account posted by an anonymous participant on the group "VIETNAM 24h" with the content "a clip of the owner of Tiger gaming shop on To Ky street having a series of "interactions" with 2 customers who are secondary school students".
Immediately after receiving the information, the People's Committee of Tan Thoi Hiep Ward directed the Ward Police to verify and determined the location of the incident to be the Tiger Gaming Internet cafe, address 98C Nguyen Anh Thu, Ward 58, Tan Thoi Hiep Ward, Ho Chi Minh City. The incident occurred at around 2:30 a.m. on March 23, 2025.
Accordingly, Tan Thoi Hiep Ward Police coordinated with the Criminal Police Department, Ho Chi Minh City Police to review, verify, and identify the two people beaten in the clip as HTL (born in 2011) and VMH (born in 2012).
According to the statements of the employees of Tiger Gaming Internet cafe, the cause of the incident was that the two people in the game room did not log in to their own accounts but used someone else's account, so the employees sent a message via Zalo social network account to inform the owner, NVH (born in 1995, residing in Tan Thoi Hiep ward, Ho Chi Minh City). When NVH returned to meet the two students, the incident happened as shown in the clip.
Tan Thoi Hiep Ward People's Committee resolutely handles any violations, if any. The People's Committee will continue to report on the inspection results and work with relevant people.
