Northern region
The price of live pigs today (December 20, 2024) in the Northern region only recorded an increase in Hanoi, an increase of 1,000 VND/kg, bringing the price of live pigs to the same level as Thai Binh at 67,000 VND/kg.

Currently, the price of live pigs in this area is fluctuating between 65,000 - 67,000 VND/kg. Most of the remaining provinces and cities in the area are trading at 66,000 VND/kg, except for Yen Bai , Lao Cai and Ninh Binh which are selling at 65,000 VND/kg.

Central Highlands region
Similarly, the price of live pigs today (December 20, 2024) in the Central Highlands region continued to record an increase in prices in the provinces of Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Quang Nam , Quang Ngai, and Binh Dinh, all increasing by VND 1,000/kg.
Currently, traders in the Central region are purchasing live pigs at around 63,000 - 66,000 VND/kg. Thanh Hoa has the highest live pig price in the region at 66,000 VND/kg. Live pig prices are commonly trading at 63,000 - 65,000 VND/kg in provinces and cities in this region.

Southern region
Similarly, the price of live pigs in the Southern region today (December 20, 2024) continued to fluctuate in the two provinces of Hau Giang and Ben Tre.
Currently, traders in the South are purchasing live pigs at prices ranging from 62,000 - 66,000 VND/kg. Tien Giang has the lowest live pig price in the region, at 62,000 VND/kg. Dong Nai and Ba Ria - Vung Tau are the two localities with the highest live pig price in the region, reaching 66,000 VND/kg. The remaining provinces and cities such as Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Phuoc, Can Tho, Long An, Ba Ria Binh Duong... have common prices of 63,000 - 64,000 VND/kg.
