Vinh Phuc is known as a bright spot in attracting investment and developing industry. Currently, the province has more than 17 thousand registered enterprises, of which small and medium enterprises and the private economic sector account for more than 98%, creating jobs for many local workers. This is also a pioneering force in technological innovation, improving competitiveness and promoting the development of key industries. Many enterprises have been participating in the production chain, playing a key role in the supporting industry for FDI investors, becoming enterprises leading the development of key industries.
In order to remove difficulties and create favorable conditions for domestic enterprises to develop, the province has promoted administrative procedure reform, shortened the time for business registration and investment licensing; issued many preferential investment policies, especially in the fields of supporting industry, high technology, and high-tech agriculture , thereby creating an open investment environment.
The Provincial People's Committee has organized many conferences to meet with businesses, promptly receiving and handling suggestions related to taxes, land, labor, and social insurance. Policies to support credit, digital transformation, trade promotion, and market development have also been implemented synchronously.
By the end of April 2025, the banking sector had lent to more than 3,300 enterprises, with a total outstanding loan balance estimated at VND 59,000 billion, an increase of 1.12% in the number of enterprises and an increase of 11.34% in outstanding loans over the same period. Of which, outstanding loans to state-owned enterprises reached more than VND 1,000 billion; outstanding loans to private enterprises, joint stock companies, and limited liability companies reached more than VND 52,800 billion.
In addition, the province also focuses on improving the quality of vocational training, providing highly skilled human resources to meet the production needs of enterprises, especially in the fields of mechanical engineering, electricity, electronics and supporting industries. In 2024, the whole province will have more than 8,500 operating enterprises, employing more than 250,000 workers. The average income of employees in enterprises will reach nearly 11 million VND/person/month.
In its long-term development strategy, the province prioritizes attracting and developing businesses with the capacity for innovation and environmental friendliness. Many domestic businesses have been investing in circular production models, saving energy, and recycling waste products, contributing to the local green growth commitment.
The province has also gradually formed ecological industrial clusters, encouraged businesses to apply renewable energy and digital transformation to improve production efficiency; regularly updated regulations related to import and export activities, market information and international trade promotion programs so that businesses can promptly orient and prepare business plans, contributing to bringing import and export activities back to a new normal state.
A typical example is Tam Dao Bee Joint Stock Company (Honeco). Established in 2002, Honeco has developed from a traditional beekeeping foundation of over 60 years. The company has become one of the leading private enterprises in the field of processing and exporting bee products.
Always focusing on investing in technology and improving product quality, Honeco currently owns 3 modern factories that meet food safety and hygiene standards with a capacity of over 500 tons/month, linked with over 50 domestic bee farms. The company provides many typical product lines from honey, herbs and agricultural products such as Tacumin, passion fruit honey, ginger lemongrass honey, cordyceps honey...
Honeco products have reached out to the European, American, and Korean markets and have won many prestigious awards and titles such as 4-star OCOP products at the provincial level, outstanding rural industrial products at the national level, National Quality Silver Award, Gold Medal for community health, ASEAN high-quality products, etc.
In 2024, the company's revenue will reach more than 30 billion VND, an increase of 50% over the same period; pay the budget 1.7 billion VND; create stable jobs for more than 30 employees with an average income of 10 million VND/person/month.
In order to build a self-reliant and sustainable economy, the province always identifies the motto "Accompanying and creating conditions for DDI enterprises to develop is a consistent task in the province's economic development orientation. When domestic enterprises grow strong, the local economy will truly be stable in the face of global fluctuations". The province is committed to accompanying enterprises, especially the domestic enterprise sector, to develop, in order to create a solid foundation for socio-economic development, contributing to improving people's lives and affirming the province's position in the new development stage.
