(NLĐO) - Today, Ho Chi Minh City is forecast to continue experiencing sunny weather with high temperatures and a very high UV index that is harmful to the skin.
According to the Southern Vietnam Regional Hydrometeorological Station, today, February 28th, the general weather in Southern Vietnam will be cloudy with sunny periods, and occasional showers and thunderstorms in some areas with insignificant rainfall; northeasterly to easterly winds will be at level 2-3.
Temperatures are generally forecast to range from a low of 23-26 degrees Celsius to a high of 30-34 degrees Celsius, with some areas exceeding 34 degrees Celsius.

Today, Ho Chi Minh City will continue to experience hot and sunny weather.
In Ho Chi Minh City specifically, the weather was mostly cloudy with almost no rain; sunny days were observed, with temperatures reaching 35 degrees Celsius, mainly in the city center. The UV index across districts and counties also reached level 10, indicating a very high risk of skin damage.
Furthermore, the AirVisual app also warns that the concentration of fine dust in Ho Chi Minh City is many times higher than the permissible level set by the World Health Organization (WHO), posing a significant health risk to residents.
Therefore, people should limit going out during peak hours when the UV index is high; when going out, they should use sun protection measures, wear wide-brimmed hats, face masks, and sunglasses... to protect their health from the harmful effects of UV rays and fine dust that affect the skin and respiratory system.
