
In compliance with the Department of Science and Technology's notification regarding the control of measurement devices used in the clean water business, Ngoc Tuan - Nagaoka Clean Water Company Limited conducted the inspection of water meters within its water supply area, totaling 11,585 meters installed in households using the company's clean water supply. After removal, the meters were sent for inspection to: the Hung Yen Center for Technical Standards, Measurement, and Quality under the Hung Yen Provincial Department of Science and Technology; the Mechanical Cold Water Meter Inspection Center of Nguyen Hanh Trading and Service Company Limited; and the Water Meter Inspection Center of STM Vietnam Measurement Joint Stock Company.

By October 31st, the company had inspected 2,373 watches. Of these, 22 watches passed the inspection, while 2,351 did not. After receiving the inspection results, for watches that passed the inspection, the company reinstalled the watches for customers. For watches that failed the inspection, the company sent a notification requesting customers to pay a replacement fee of VND 1,200,000 per watch if the customer did not keep the watch; or VND 2,284,000 per watch if the customer kept the watch. Customers who disagree with the inspection results provided by the company have the right to request the return of their watch and have it inspected by another inspection unit.

At the ceremony, in the presence of customer representatives, Ngoc Tuan – Nagaoka Clean Water Company Limited proceeded to destroy the water meter that failed the quality inspection.
Currently, Ngoc Tuan-Nagaoka Clean Water Company Limited is constructing the Xuan Quan clean water plant in Phung Cong commune, Hung Yen province, with a capacity of 49,500 m³ /day. On October 7, 2025, the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 14/QD-UBND approving the adjustment of the investment policy and simultaneously approving the investor's adjustment to increase the capacity of the Ngoc Tuan clean water plant from 19,000 m³ /day to 68,500 m³ /day.
