Accordingly, from November 28th to the present, the Provincial Forest Protection Force, in coordination with the Provincial Police, has organized 26 patrols and raids to manage and protect wildlife, migratory birds, and aquatic resources in the province.

As a result, the authorities discovered and confiscated 2,050 meters of netting, 3 loudspeakers, and 3 bird trapping huts…

In total, the inter-agency task force has discovered, confiscated, and destroyed 12,285 meters of various types of nets, 8 snare traps, 1 fake bird signal transmitter… and released 32 wild birds back into their natural environment.

In addition, authorities also confiscated 4 sets of electric fishing devices (electric shockers, batteries, and fishing nets) used for destructive fishing practices.

Besides propaganda, patrols, and raids, in the coming time, the forest protection force will continue to coordinate with functional forces and local authorities to apply measures to combat, investigate, and strictly handle individuals involved in the illegal trading and transportation of wild animals, including serious inter-provincial and transnational migration; and protect aquatic resources in accordance with the law.
