Mr. Luu Quang Loi, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Mau A commune, said: "The locality has always considered sending workers abroad as an important solution to increase people's income. Therefore, in addition to promoting awareness among the people, the locality always creates the best conditions regarding administrative procedures to help workers access capital and related paperwork when going abroad... Through this approach, Mau A commune currently has nearly 500 workers working abroad on fixed-term contracts, mainly in South Korea, Japan, and Taiwan."

Dai An village has a large number of people working abroad, helping many families in the village change their lives and build exemplary economic development models. In his spacious house, worth over 2 billion VND and equipped with many expensive amenities, built largely with the money sent back by his son who has been working in South Korea for over four years, Mr. Nguyen Van Phuoc of Dai An village said: "My family used to be poor. Since my son started working and sending money back, we have built a spacious house and have the means to invest in economic development. My family both plants trees and raises livestock, so we earn over 200 million VND per year after deducting expenses. My son works in South Korea and has a stable income."

The family of Mr. Nguyen Van Phuoc, from Dai An village, Mau A commune, has built a spacious and comfortable home thanks to their son working in South Korea.

For Mr. Nguyen Hoai Nam from Dai An village, working in South Korea was perhaps the best decision he's ever made. Nearly 10 years ago, after being discharged from the army and returning to his hometown without knowing what to do, he was introduced by the local government to work in South Korea under a contract. Not only did he earn a high income of up to 60 million VND per month, but Mr. Nam was also appreciated by his South Korean employer who taught him programming and the electrical goods business. Returning to Vietnam with capital and experience, he built a house and opened a store spanning hundreds of square meters, selling general building materials.

With the experience he has accumulated, Mr. Nam has successfully applied it to his family's business model, gaining the trust of customers, and achieving steadily increasing revenue, contributing to his long-term family stability. Mr. Nam has truly become an exemplary role model, inspiring many young people in the locality to seek work abroad.

Mr. Nguyen Hoai Nam, from Dai An village, Mau A commune, has built a model business thanks to the capital he accumulated after returning from working in South Korea.

The success of individuals like Mr. Phuoc's son and Mr. Nam in working abroad has motivated people in Mau A commune to encourage their children to work overseas. Since the beginning of this year alone, 36 more people from the commune have gone to work abroad under contract. Currently, many more workers are learning the language and completing the necessary procedures for departure. Upon returning to the locality after their contracts expire, these workers have accumulated valuable experience and developed scientific and disciplined work methods. This has led to the establishment of exemplary production and business models, spreading positivity and attracting more workers from the area.

Over the past period, along with promoting information dissemination to the people, Mau A has actively coordinated with relevant agencies to select and introduce reputable businesses to recruit workers for overseas employment in the villages... Through this approach, the number of workers going to work abroad on fixed-term contracts in the area has increased annually. The foreign currency that workers send back to their families ranges from 20 to 50 million VND per month, helping families become more prosperous, contributing to socio-economic development and the construction of new rural areas in the locality.

Thanks to working abroad, many farmers in Mau A commune have developed exemplary business models, creating jobs for many local laborers.

Despite the achievements, the work of sending people to work abroad in Mau A commune still faces some difficulties and limitations, such as barriers due to customs and traditions of some people who are reluctant to leave home to work far away. Some workers are also hesitant to learn foreign languages. Therefore, the number of participants is not commensurate with the potential. Despite these difficulties, the important thing is that the awareness of the people of Mau A on this issue has gradually changed.

Currently, Mau A commune continues to maintain the operation of the Steering Committee for sending people to work abroad, assigning specific tasks to each member. At the same time, it directs specialized agencies and villages to create favorable conditions for workers participating in overseas labor export programs, such as: preferential loans, health screening, language training, etc.

To effectively facilitate overseas employment, Mau A commune has compiled statistics on working-age individuals, implemented policies on preferential loans, provided career guidance, and coordinated foreign language training. For returning workers, the commune supports the development of suitable models to promote economic growth among the local population.

In the coming period, Mau A commune will continue to do a good job of disseminating information and surveying the actual needs of workers to advise and guide them in choosing jobs that suit their actual conditions and abilities. In particular, it will guide people to understand the policies and benefits they are entitled to, and coordinate training in labor skills and foreign language proficiency so that people are more confident when applying for overseas employment. The government and mass organizations will regularly maintain contact with the families of workers to understand their thoughts, aspirations, and difficulties, thereby resolving them promptly so that workers can work with peace of mind…
