The provincial Veterans Association branches are constantly innovating the content and methods of their activities, actively implementing patriotic emulation movements. Chairman of the Provincial Veterans Association, Dam Huy Dac, emphasized: The patriotic emulation movement is identified as a central and continuous task. Based on closely following the leadership of the Vietnam Veterans Association Central Committee, the Provincial Party Committee, and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; and at the same time, thoroughly understanding the Resolution of the 8th Provincial Veterans Association Congress, term 2025-2030, and the practical requirements of the locality, the provincial Veterans Association branches have developed many practical and effective models, contributing to maintaining the qualities of "Uncle Ho's Soldiers" in the new era.
The Provincial Veterans Association has seriously implemented the resolutions and conclusions of the Central Committee on administrative organization restructuring, building a two-tiered government model, streamlining the apparatus of the Fatherland Front and political and social organizations, and implementing Resolution No. 35-NQ/TW of the Politburo (dated October 22, 2018) "On strengthening the protection of the Party's ideological foundation and combating erroneous and hostile viewpoints in the new situation". Veterans Association members possess firm political resolve, actively participate in building and protecting the Party, government, and people; contributing to consolidating the great national unity and serving as a core force in combating erroneous and hostile viewpoints.
Following organizational restructuring, the province now has 91 veterans' associations (54 at the commune, ward, and special zone levels; 37 at the 487 block), with over 56,000 members. Many members have been entrusted with participating in the political system at all levels (491 branch secretaries and village/neighborhood heads; 319 deputy branch secretaries; 509 branch committee members; and 705 delegates to the People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term).
The "Exemplary Veterans" movement continues to spread, becoming a driving force for members to uphold a sense of responsibility, set a good example in their lives, and actively contribute to building the political system at the grassroots level. The various levels of the association maintain 2,422 self-governing community security and order groups with 16,200 members participating (4,184 veterans serving as group leaders), operating effectively and contributing to ensuring security, order, and traffic safety. Simultaneously, they coordinate the organization of legal training, propaganda on border and maritime sovereignty , training, and exercises, contributing to building a solid national defense and people's security posture.
The Provincial Veterans Association successfully organized the 7th Patriotic Emulation Congress "Exemplary Veterans," covering the period 2024-2029, in conjunction with the Veterans' Singing Festival in residential areas. The festival attracted 1,339 residential groups and neighborhoods, contributing to improving the cultural and spiritual lives of members and the community.

In the program to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas, over the three years (2022-2025), members have donated over 7,000 m² of land, contributed 1,500 man-days of labor, participated in building 152 km of new roads, and repaired hundreds of km of irrigation canals in the fields; installed 42,000 sets of lights in the "Lighting up the Countryside" movement, worth 7.6 billion VND (veterans contributed 1.1 billion VND and 3,000 man-days of labor), benefiting 11,000 households and hundreds of agencies and schools. Currently, the association has 174 small and medium-sized enterprises, 27 cooperatives, 120 farms, 593 family farms, and 1,309 production and business households owned by war veterans, creating jobs for over 16,000 workers. Preferential loans and entrusted capital are managed and used effectively by the association, helping members expand production and achieve legitimate wealth. The province currently has no poor war veteran households, and over 33,000 households are considered well-off or wealthy, accounting for 63% of the total number of war veteran members in the province.
