On the afternoon of May 20, at the National Assembly House, the 15th National Assembly elected comrade Tran Thanh Man, Politburo member, Permanent Vice Chairman of the 15th National Assembly (directing the activities of the National Assembly and the National Assembly Standing Committee) to hold the position of Chairman of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
According to the vote counting results, 100% of the delegates present voted in favor, equal to 97.54% of the total number of National Assembly delegates, to elect comrade Tran Thanh Man , Politburo member, Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, to hold the position of Chairman of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
After announcing the vote counting results, the National Assembly voted to pass the resolution to elect National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man.
Secretary General of the National Assembly Bui Van Cuong presented the draft resolution to elect National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man.
With 475/475 delegates present (100%) in favor, the National Assembly passed a resolution to elect comrade Tran Thanh Man to hold the position of Chairman of the 15th National Assembly for the 2021-2026 term.
