Ms. Duong said she had returned directly from Tay Ninh province to Ho Chi Minh City to receive her child. The authorities there confirmed the child’s identity and carried out the handover procedures. The family expressed their gratitude to the online community and the authorities for their active support during the search.

According to the mother, after discovering that her daughter was not at home, she searched for her daughter and learned that Trang had been taken by a motorbike taxi driver from Ho Chi Minh City to Tay Ninh province. However, she later returned to Ho Chi Minh City. When she found her daughter, Ms. Duong reported to the local police to coordinate the search.
Earlier, on the morning of July 25, while searching, Ms. Duong received information from a resident at the Nga Tu Ga bus station (HCMC) about a girl with a Northern accent asking for a ride to the restroom. When the girl expressed her desire to go to Tay Ninh, many motorbike taxi drivers refused because she did not have a guardian. The girl did not agree to take the bus but insisted on taking a motorbike taxi with the reason that someone would pick her up in Tay Ninh.
Images extracted from the camera at the bus station recorded that the last driver who picked up the child was a man named Tong. This driver said that he gave the child 100,000 VND to catch another bus because the child had no money, and in Tay Ninh there were two people waiting. This detail makes the family question the purpose and motive of those involved in Tr's journey.
Initial information from the family said that on the evening of July 23, Tr. left his house at lane 245 Lac Long Quan (Tay Ho ward, Hanoi ), took a bus to Ha Tinh, then continued to travel by another bus to Ho Chi Minh City.
The authorities are currently continuing to verify and clarify details related to the child's journey and those who had contact with the child during the days of losing contact.
