Authorities have found the black box of the crashed Yak-130 aircraft in the Yok Don National Park area ( Dak Lak ).
On the evening of November 8th, a leader of the Dak Lak Provincial Military Command announced that the black box of the Yak-130 aircraft that crashed in Yok Don National Park, Krong Na commune (Buon Don district) had been found.

According to this leader, there are currently three forces involved in securing the crash site. Authorities have sent the black box for data analysis to determine the cause of the accident; they are also planning to remove the Yak-130 wreckage from the forest after the crash site investigation is completed.
On the afternoon of November 8th, authorities found the crashed Yak-130 aircraft near the forest ranger outpost of Station No. 9, in Yok Don National Park.
Earlier, on November 6th, the 940th Air Regiment conducted a day-long training flight at Phu Cat Airport, Binh Dinh province.
Upon completing their mission and returning to the airport for landing, the aircraft encountered a technical problem: the landing gear failed to deploy. The pilots promptly implemented emergency procedures to save the aircraft, but to no avail. The flight commander ordered the pilots to parachute out.
Immediately after the incident occurred, the Air Defense and Air Force Command took the lead, coordinating with forces from Military Region 5 and local authorities to urgently organize a search operation.
On the evening of November 6th, search and rescue forces successfully found Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Hong Quan in Tay Phu commune, Tay Son district. At 10:10 PM, Colonel Nguyen Van Son was found more than 1km from where Lieutenant Colonel Quan was found.
Currently, the health of the two pilots is stable and they are being cared for at Military Hospital 13, Military Region 5.
