Good news from tourism.

Việt NamViệt Nam30/06/2024

There's been a string of good news about tourism in just one week. This information is like golden grains of rice ripening in a field during harvest season.

Good news from tourism.

First, the Phan Chu Trinh pedestrian street and the Lam Son Square cultural space officially opened amidst overwhelming emotion from the people of Thanh Hoa City and tourists. The wait had been long, five years, for a cultural and tourist street to reach its full potential, simultaneously satisfying multiple requirements in terms of physical space and cultural values, representing the brand and class of a first-class city, a civilized and friendly city.

This is exactly as affirmed by the head of the Thanh Hoa City People's Committee, Mr. Tran Anh Chung, on the opening night of June 28th: "This is a destination for residents and tourists to enjoy the fresh air, shop, eat, and enjoy street art, and admire the city's night view."

With four physical spaces that the city has meticulously studied, researched, and prepared, Phan Chu Trinh pedestrian street and Lam Son Square cultural space are expected to become attractive tourist products, drawing domestic and international tourists. At the same time, they will create a space and environment for the development of cultural, artistic, commercial, and service activities, contributing to promoting the traditional cultural values and urban civilization of Thanh Hoa City.

Yes, obviously.

And while the buzz surrounding the launch of this highly anticipated street is still fresh, with many social media accounts overflowing with images of people eagerly showing off their photos in a vibrant, colorful space, the grand opening of Sam Son Water Park has taken place in the most beautiful coastal tourist city in Northern Vietnam. This is one of the largest outdoor water parks in the North in terms of total investment and area, promising to attract even more tourists to the coastal city, extending their stay, stimulating shopping and spending, and increasing tourism revenue...

According to data reported by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in the first six months of 2024, tourist areas and destinations throughout the province welcomed nearly 9.8 million visitors, an increase of 16.1%; total tourism revenue is estimated at 19,848.5 billion VND, an increase of 30.2% compared to the same period in 2023.

These figures were recorded before the introduction of new tourism services and products. We are fully confident that these numbers will see a breakthrough in the final months of the year. Locals and tourists alike hope that with this momentum, even more innovative and high-quality tourism services and products will be invested in, helping Thanh Hoa tourism transcend the boundaries of time and space, truly becoming a popular tourist destination.
