Attending the candle lighting ceremony were leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; leaders of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, leaders of the Provincial Youth Union; Party Committee and government of Ly Nhan commune, along with a large number of cadres, union members and youth.
In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, delegates, union members and youth respectfully offered incense, laid wreaths with the words "Forever remember the heroic martyrs" and observed a minute of silence to commemorate and express infinite gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh and the heroic martyrs who fell for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
In recent times, the movement of "Repaying gratitude" and "Drinking water, remembering its source" has been actively responded to by the youth of Ly Nhan commune as well as the youth of Ninh Binh province. On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), the Youth Union - Association at all levels and the youth of the whole province have registered to undertake thousands of valuable youth projects and tasks to join hands and contribute to taking care of the material and spiritual life of policy families and people with meritorious services; organizing forums and pilgrimages to red addresses to educate the younger generation about traditions...
In particular, the candle lighting ceremony to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs is a meaningful activity organized by the youth of Ninh Binh province every year on the occasion of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27). This is an opportunity for the youth union members and the people to deeply express their gratitude to the heroic sacrifices and great contributions of the heroic martyrs to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland. From there, it will further motivate the young generation to strive to study, practice, work and labor, contributing to the development of the province in general and Ly Nhan commune in particular.
Through this activity, we contribute to educating revolutionary traditions, patriotism, national pride, and the responsibility of young people in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

During the wars to defend the Fatherland, 2,789 martyrs of the Nho Quan area heroically sacrificed their lives, including 591 outstanding sons of Nho Quan commune who devoted their youth to the country. The martyrs are resting in cemeteries across the country and at the Van Phong Martyrs Cemetery in Nho Quan commune.
In a solemn atmosphere, representatives of the youth of Nho Quan commune reviewed the heroic revolutionary tradition of the previous generations. The heroic sacrifices of the heroic martyrs are deeply engraved in the hearts of generations of Nho Quan commune residents, forever remembered and grateful. In gratitude to the heroic martyrs, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nho Quan commune will continue to promote and continue the revolutionary tradition of the ancestors, join hands and unite to build the homeland to be more and more prosperous, civilized, worthy of the great sacrifices of the heroic martyrs.
