A large number of workers and generations of trade union officials of Cao Bang province attended the Seminar.
Currently, Cao Bang Provincial Labor Federation has 788 affiliated grassroots unions, with more than 28 thousand union members.
In 2025, the Cao Bang Provincial Labor Federation represented employees to sign nearly 100 Collective Labor Agreements with employers, stipulating the rights and obligations of employers and employees; compensation for harmful effects, shift meals... of employees.
Cao Bang Provincial Labor Federation established 15 legal advisory groups, responding to nearly 1,000 opinions and recommendations from workers.
Over the past 5 years, the Cao Bang Provincial Federation of Labor has supported the renovation and repair of 526 “Union Shelters” with a total amount of more than 13 billion VND. Thereby, practically supporting workers in difficulty with housing to “settle down and have a successful career”.
Cao Bang Provincial Labor Federation also visited and gave gifts to more than 80 thousand workers in difficult circumstances and with serious illnesses.
Speaking at the Seminar, Vice President in charge of the Cao Bang Provincial Labor Federation Nguyen Thi Huong Nhung shared that over the past 96 years, the Trade Union has always been a solid support, a reliable companion, accompanying and standing side by side with workers in all stages of the country's development.
Many generations of union officials have been dedicated, devoted, responsible, and attached to the grassroots, promoting the strong development of the workers' and civil servants' movement and union activities, with the goal of caring for and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers.
In the new period, when the Trade Union Law 2024 takes effect from July 1, 2025, comrade Nguyen Thi Huong Nhung emphasized that in order to always be worthy of the trust of workers, trade unions at all levels in Cao Bang province need to continue to strongly innovate the content and methods of operation, focusing on workers and the grassroots, grasping and resolving the legitimate thoughts and aspirations of workers.
The leaders of the Cao Bang Provincial Federation of Labor suggested that the union cadres need to innovate more strongly, take more practical and drastic actions to contribute to building a team of skilled, disciplined, united workers who can successfully complete assigned tasks.
Union officials need to continue to put workers at the center, taking the trust and happiness of workers as a measure of the level of task completion of union officials.
At the Seminar, delegates and workers heard about some new points of the 2024 Trade Union Law, solutions to improve the quality of signing Collective Labor Agreements...; identify and prevent the risk of being scammed in cyberspace.
On this occasion, the Cao Bang Provincial Labor Federation presented gifts to honor union officials of all periods; presented gifts to 50 workers in difficult circumstances; organized a "Union Meal" to honor generations of union officials, and practically encouraged workers.
