Organizing the 2023 Can Tho City Youth and Children's Creativity Contest

(CT) - The Organizing Committee of the 12th Can Tho City Youth and Children's Creativity Contest in 2023 has just issued a plan to organize the contest.

Students of Phan Van Tri High School, Phong Dien District, with the BASTICK solution - a smart cane to support the elderly.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc He, Vice Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee, is the Head of the Organizing Committee of the contest; the members of the Organizing Committee are leaders of relevant departments, branches and sectors. The Union of Science and Technology Associations of the city will receive the preliminary entries from high school and district levels. After that, the Organizing Committee will hold a meeting of the preliminary and final councils at the city level to select outstanding models and solutions to propose the city to commend and consider some consolation prizes to encourage the movement. The winning models and solutions will be sent by the Selection Council to the national competition. The time to receive applications is from May 20 to May 31, 2023, at the address: Union of Science and Technology Associations of Can Tho City, No. 39, Ly Tu Trong Street, Ninh Kieu District.

Previously, the Organizing Committee of the 12th Can Tho City Youth and Children's Creativity Contest in 2023 also launched the contest. The contest is for teenagers and children from 6 to 18 years old, studying at high schools in the city. The topics and products of the contest are in the following fields: Learning materials; Computer software; Environmentally friendly products; Household appliances and children's toys; Technical solutions to respond to climate change, protect the environment and develop the economy .

In the 2022 season, the Organizing Committee selected 20 solutions from Can Tho City students to register to participate in the 18th National Youth and Children's Creativity Competition in Hanoi. As a result, Can Tho City students excellently won 1 Second Prize, 1 Third Prize and 2 Encouragement Prizes.
