In addition, Ngoc Lac District People's Court always pays attention to the work of receiving people and handling complaints and denunciations. Accordingly, the District People's Court focuses on receiving people at the grassroots level to listen to citizens' opinions and aspirations, and dialogue with people to thoroughly resolve and remove citizens' complaints and grievances. For criminal cases and cases of public interest, the District People's Court has actively coordinated with the investigation and prosecution agencies to promptly complete the case files for trial. The organization of the trials has been organized in the spirit of judicial reform, in accordance with procedural order. The verdict of the trial panel is based on the evidence and documents provided, especially based on the results of the debate at the trial to ensure that the verdict is announced objectively, comprehensively, in accordance with the law, and highly convincing. For civil, commercial, administrative and labor trials, Ngoc Lac District People's Court has persistently conducted mediation in civil cases to help the parties understand the provisions of the law, so the number of successful mediation cases and recognition of the parties' agreements has achieved high results (reaching a rate of over 60%) of the cases to be resolved. Ngoc Lac District People's Court also focuses on organizing experience-sharing trials, thereby helping judges and secretaries improve their professional skills in organizing and conducting trials, enhancing litigation, and increasingly meeting the requirements of judicial reform.
Along with strengthening the trial work, Ngoc Lac District People's Court has implemented many solutions to innovate administrative and judicial procedures, apply information technology to administrative processes and procedures to support trial activities at court, and resolve citizens' requests. In particular, Ngoc Lac District People's Court has organized online trials in accordance with Resolution No. 33/2021/QH15 dated November 12, 2021 of the 15th National Assembly and the Joint Circular between the Supreme People's Court, the Supreme People's Procuracy , the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Justice, and the Ministry of National Defense detailing and guiding the implementation of organizing online trials. Accordingly, to organize online trials, the unit has planned in advance, selected appropriate cases to bring to trial, so the trials all took place in a solemn atmosphere, no different from the trials where the defendants were present in the court's trial hall. The online connection between the central bridge point, the court headquarters, and the component bridge points allows defendants, victims, and participants in the proceedings to fully monitor images and sounds and fully participate in the proceedings and procedures. The entire trial process is recorded, videotaped and stored, creating conditions for competent authorities to monitor and ensure the rights and legitimate interests of the parties involved.
Identifying the improvement of trial quality as a key task in implementing the judicial reform roadmap, in the coming time, Ngoc Lac District People's Court will continue to seriously implement the resolutions of the Party and the National Assembly on judicial work and judicial reform, especially effectively organizing the implementation of the directive of the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court on the deployment and organization of the implementation of key tasks in 2023. In addition, the District People's Court will continue to innovate administrative and judicial procedures to ensure publicity and transparency of court activities, creating favorable conditions for people when handling work at court; increase the application of information technology in activities. At the same time, promote propaganda, dissemination and education of law through the work of handling and trying all types of cases. Along with that, strengthen coordination with prosecution agencies to promptly bring key cases to trial, resolutely and strictly punish crimes related to social evils. Continuously improve the professional qualifications of officials and civil servants, especially judges, clerks and people's jurors, to better meet the requirements of the new situation.
