Seminar on teaching social sciences and humanities in military schools

On October 2, in Khanh Hoa, the Ho Chi Minh Thought Department Council, the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army held a seminar on Consulting and developing programs and teaching materials for social sciences and humanities in military schools in 2025. Colonel, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Huu Lap - Head of the Ho Chi Minh Studies Department, Academy of Politics (Ministry of National Defense), Permanent Vice Chairman of the Council chaired the seminar.

The delegates consulted lectures, lesson plans, and documents on Ho Chi Minh Thought of the Faculty of Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh Thought, Naval Academy; on that basis, they exchanged, analyzed, and evaluated the content and teaching methods of social sciences and humanities, especially the major of Ho Chi Minh Thought. At the same time, they evaluated the results and promoted the role of the subject council in improving the quality of teaching Ho Chi Minh Thought in military academies and schools, meeting the requirements and tasks in the new situation.

Delegates also proposed promoting the application of digital technology in teaching, building specialized classrooms, electronic learning materials systems, open data warehouses to serve staff, lecturers, and students in learning and research; sharing some good models and experiences, contributing to orienting and perfecting the curriculum and teaching materials of Ho Chi Minh Thought in the coming time.
