Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Long Bien worked with Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics

On the afternoon of October 2, comrade Nguyen Long Bien - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee worked with Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics (UEH) on implementing the contents according to the cooperation minutes between Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee and UEH for the period 2025 - 2030. Attending the meeting were Dr. Dinh Cong Khai - Deputy Director of UEH and leaders of relevant departments, branches and units.

At the meeting, the leaders of the Department of Finance proposed that UEH coordinate with the province to organize two major events hosted by the province in the fourth quarter of 2025, namely the National Investment and Trade Promotion Conference and the Hala Economic Forum; coordinate in consulting and researching the public investment - private management cooperation model to effectively exploit the Provincial Children's Cultural Palace; promptly implement procedures related to the 2-hectare land fund to build a UEH branch in Khanh Hoa. UEH representatives proposed that the Provincial People's Committee soon establish a Working Group to monitor the progress of the implementation of the cooperation agreement between the two sides; identify priority activities to be implemented in 2025 and 2026. Regarding the province's proposals, UEH is ready to cooperate to coordinate implementation.

Comrade Nguyen Long Bien basically agreed with the proposals of UEH, and at the same time noted that, based on the list of tasks for each stage, the two sides need to select and implement priority lists each year. He also suggested that UEH pay attention to implementing training programs to improve management capacity for leaders of departments, branches and commune-level civil servants of the province after operating the 2-level local apparatus; support the province in re-determining land prices; implement programs and projects to promote the province's strengths in ocean economy, community tourism models associated with environmental protection, preservation of national historical and cultural relics... Every year, the two sides will have a direct working session to summarize, exchange and evaluate the progress of work implementation.
