A turning point in her career after her role in "The Buffalo's Summer".

Appearing on the program "Knocking on Doors to Visit Homes," actress Kieu Trinh rarely shared details about her private life, revealing many hidden aspects.

Actress Kieu Trinh emotionally shared about the hidden aspects of her life on the program "Knocking on Doors to Visit Homes".

She shared that she had been devastated after separating from her first husband, her second marriage was unsuccessful, and now she enjoys a peaceful life with her father and three children.

In a conversation with Ngoc Lan, actress Kieu Trinh revealed that her acting career began with a role in the film "The Buffalo's Season".

Although she hadn't received formal training at the time, thanks to her acting talent, the actress beat out over 800 other candidates to win the lead role in the film.

"I feel like the luckiest person in the profession, because I'm just a country seamstress with no formal education, yet I got a role in a famous film."

"The film 'The Buffalo's Season' was a life-changing event for me and my whole family," Kieu Trinh said.

Married life is like hell.

Despite her successful career, Kieu Trinh faced many difficulties in her married life. It is known that after separating from her first husband, the actress sadly left home with nothing but her daughter.

Kieu Trinh, born in 1976, was once dubbed the "queen of steamy scenes" on Vietnamese screens through her roles in art-house films such as "The Buffalo's Season," "Bi, Don't Be Afraid," etc.

Some time later, Kieu Trinh met, fell in love with, and lived with her second husband. During that period, she was almost completely absent from the screen.

The actress tearfully revealed that it was a difficult period in her life, a time of tragedy marked by constant abuse.

Kieu Trinh recounted: "My love life at that time was like hell on earth. I was very scared, I hid from life and was afraid to meet that person. My mental and physical health were affected, and I became very ill, but I didn't tell anyone."

During that time, I was abused to the point of severe depression, mental illness, memory loss, wild rage, destroying things, and even banging my head against the wall in an attempt to commit suicide.

Looking back now, it was still terrifying, and I've never told anyone about it. I was locked in a room, the music was on, and I was beaten without anyone knowing. I didn't speak up because I wanted to save face. After all, I'm an actress, a public figure, and I couldn't make a fuss."

At this point, Kieu Trinh broke down in tears and added, "It was thanks to my daughter Thanh Tu that I was able to recover from all the suffering. At that time, Tu hugged me and said, 'Mom, hit me so you can feel less pain.' Tu's words helped me regain my composure. If my 13-year-old daughter could say that, why couldn't I try to control myself? Thinking that, I tried to overcome the pain."

Currently, Kieu Trinh is a single mother, living peacefully with her father and children.

A peaceful life after the storms of life.

Reflecting on the many ups and downs of her life, the actress calmly confided: "After everything, I've realized what's most important. Now, I only have my father and my children left."

Remembering what Mr. Huu Chau once said: "Whether it's heavy or light, it's still you, so why not choose the light? Whether it's happy or sad, it's still you," I decided to choose the light and the happy."

After experiencing many ups and downs in life, actress Kieu Trinh, now in her late 40s, has found a more stable and peaceful life. Besides acting, she continues her work designing and sewing traditional Vietnamese dresses (áo dài).

Regarding her wishes for her later years, the actress confided: "I only wish for my father to always be healthy. Of course, the cycle of birth, aging, illness, and death is unavoidable, but I still hope he lives to be around 100 years old."

"At this age, all I long for is family reunion, hoping my children will soon be able to be together because my family rarely has the opportunity to get together as a whole."
