(NADS) - The first "Photography & Life" photo contest with the theme "Beautiful Moments Around Us" was a resounding success, attracting a large number of photographers and photo lovers across the country with a total prize of more than 150 million VND. The contest is not only a creative playground but also honors beautiful moments in life, contributing to enriching the spiritual life of art lovers.
The first "Photography & Life" photo contest, with the theme "Beautiful Moments Around Us", organized by the Southern Representative Office of Photography & Life Magazine in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Photography Association, has ended with great success. The contest lasted for one year, starting from June 17, 2023 to June 17, 2024, attracting the participation of many photographers and photo lovers across the country.
Immediately after the opening of the contest, the contest attracted great attention from the public. Each month, the Organizing Committee received nearly 300 works from authors across the country. In particular, in the last month of the contest, the Organizing Committee received more than 1,000 works, many of which were valuable. The contest has created a creative and interesting playground where photographers can share beautiful moments in life.
The Jury, consisting of prestigious photography experts, and readers awarded monthly prizes to the authors with the highest scores. Through each round of judging, the best works were selected to participate in the final round. After one year of organization, the contest received 3,780 works from nearly 750 authors to compete.
The contest is not only an art playground, but also has attractive prizes with a total value of more than 150 million VND, sponsored by Le Bao Minh Company and Canon. In particular, the special prize of the contest is worth 35 million VND, along with dozens of other prizes, first, second, third, quarterly and monthly prizes, including cash and in-kind prizes from Canon products.
Journalist Thai Ngoc Son, Head of the Organizing Committee, shared: "The contest is a great opportunity for us to explore and honor beautiful moments, with an optimistic spirit in daily life after people have experienced the Covid-19 pandemic. Each work brings different emotions, and we truly appreciate the efforts and dedication of the authors."

The contest has given me the opportunity to express my passion for photography and share the beautiful moments I encounter in life.
