On this occasion, General Secretary To Lam presented gifts to teachers and students of Kieng Sang Kindergarten.
Kieng Sang Kindergarten has a close relationship with the Vietnam - Korea Friendship Kindergarten, a meaningful gift that the North Korean Government gave to the Vietnamese people (March 8, 1978). In 2010, the Vietnam - Korea Friendship Kindergarten sent 100 winter coats to Kieng Sang Kindergarten.
In June 2011, during the visit to North Korea of the Vietnam - Korea Friendship Association delegation, the Vietnam - Korea Friendship Kindergarten and Kieng Sang Kindergarten signed a cooperation agreement and established a class named after President Ho Chi Minh.

The art program aims to honor the achievements of the Workers' Party of Korea in all aspects over the past 80 years. This is also an opportunity for North Koreans to praise the country, its founders and current leaders through special art performances, gymnastics and dance.
Tens of thousands of people in the stands coordinated their movements, holding up their palettes to create a giant mosaic, providing a backdrop for athletes and dancers to perform. The art performances were interspersed with spectacular fireworks displays.
Previously, General Secretary To Lam and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation attended a state reception hosted by General Secretary and State President of North Korea Kim Jong Un.
