On the morning of November 14th, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with the Department of Grassroots Culture (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism), held a dress rehearsal for the Red River Convergence folk art festival.
The head of the Department of Grassroots Culture (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism ) delivered a speech at the program.
The opening ceremony of the festival took place at 8 PM on November 14, 2024, and included outstanding artistic performances by artists and actors from the Thai Binh Cheo Theatre. Immediately following the opening ceremony was a performance of the Cheo play "The Sacred Letter," written and staged by the Thai Binh Provincial Amateur Arts Troupe.
The Red River Convergence Festival is an important cultural event in the Red River Delta region, providing an opportunity for amateur artists, actors, and musicians representing the provinces of the Red River Delta to meet, interact, exchange experiences, and create in their artistic endeavors. Through this festival, traditional art forms and unique cultural features of the localities in the Red River Delta region are introduced and promoted.
The art program welcoming the Red River Convergence Festival was performed by artists and actors from the Thai Binh Cheo Theatre.
During the dress rehearsal for the opening ceremony, leaders from the Department of Grassroots Culture (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) contributed ideas on the staging and layout to provide the most impressive artistic experience for the audience supporting the festival.
