On November 15, in the central areas - where the opening ceremony and exhibition booths are being arranged, preparations are taking place very urgently.

This year’s festival, themed “Ca Mau Crab: Forest Scent - Sea Flavor” , takes place from November 16-22, with the main activities concentrated in the first 3 days (November 16-18). The event is held in An Xuyen, Tan Thanh, Ly Van Lam, Bac Lieu and Hiep Thanh wards.
According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ca Mau province, the opening ceremony will be accompanied by an art performance with the theme "Ca Mau Crab: Forest Scent - Sea Flavor" and will be broadcast live on Ca Mau Newspaper, Radio and Television and some associated stations. In addition, the festival will also include exhibitions, a comprehensive trade fair, a culinary space and crab dishes promotion, a competition to set a record for Ca Mau crab, a series of events CamaUP'25 - Startup Festival 2025, and an international conference on innovation in the crab industry.
Despite the hot weather, professional and amateur artists still actively practice to get ready for the dress rehearsal tonight and the official performance on the evening of November 16.
At Phan Ngoc Hien Square, where the opening ceremony and many key activities will take place, construction teams are rushing to install and adjust the sound and lighting systems; artists and actors are actively practicing in the hot weather. The work of arranging the stage, stands and performance spaces is being completed on schedule.
In the exhibition areas and culinary spaces, the booths have entered the stage of decoration and arrangement of typical products. Many units choose to display in a way that is imbued with local cultural nuances, creating a close space and bearing the mark of the southernmost land of the Fatherland.

According to the Organizing Committee, the Ca Mau Crab Festival not only has cultural and entertainment significance but also aims to promote the local image, boost seafood consumption, connect businesses and stimulate tourism. Up to now, many travel groups, press agencies and partners inside and outside the province have registered to participate, opening up opportunities to increase trade and introduce Ca Mau specialties to tourists.
The General Trade Fair space with 224 booths is located on Le Duan Street (the section adjacent from Ngo Quyen Street to Minh Thang Urban Area), An Xuyen Ward.
In an atmosphere of urgency and excitement, the units are striving to complete all the final tasks. The 2nd Ca Mau Crab Festival in 2025 is expected to create a remarkable impression, contributing to spreading the Ca Mau crab brand and the image of a dynamic, friendly locality to the public.
