Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Luan attended the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day and the 35th anniversary meeting of the establishment and development of Ca Mau High School.

On the morning of November 15, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Luan attended the ceremony to celebrate the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2025), and the 35th anniversary of the establishment and development of Ca Mau High School.

Ca Mau Semi-Public High School (grades 2-3) was established on August 1, 1991. In 1997, the school separated from grade 2, leaving only grade 3. In 2008, the school converted to public type and changed its name to Ca Mau High School.

Speaking about the 35-year tradition of formation and development, the representative of Ca Mau High School said: Every year, the school has over 3,300 students with about 80 classes; the average graduation rate is over 99%; the rate of excellent students passing university entrance exams is increasing; movement activities and competitions all achieve high results.

With its achievements, the school was honored to receive the Third Class Labor Medal from the President in 1997, Second Class in 2000; many Certificates of Merit from the Ministry of Education and Training, Ministry of Public Security , Ministry of Culture - Information (now the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism), and People's Committee of Ca Mau province.

The representative of the leadership of Ca Mau High School expressed sincere thanks to the leaders of the Party, the State, the local government, the Department of Education and Training, the excellent teachers, generations of school leaders, teachers, the pedagogical council, and school staff through the periods who have devoted all their heart, encouraged, supported, and added motivation for the development of the school over the past 35 years; at the same time, hoped that the students currently in school would continue to promote the tradition of "Respecting teachers", striving to study and practice to become useful people for society in the future.

Representatives of the Department of Education and Training praised and congratulated the achievements that the school has achieved in recent years. Thereby, they expect and believe that the school will continue to affirm its position as a key school of the province, a pioneer in innovation and integration, becoming the leading flag of education in Ca Mau province.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Luan awarded Certificates of Merit of the Provincial People's Committee Chairman to individuals.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 06 individuals of Ca Mau High School with outstanding achievements in education and training from the 2023 - 2024 school year to the 2024 - 2025 school year; The Provincial Labor Federation awarded a Certificate of Merit to 01 individual with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement and trade union activities in the 2024 - 2025 school year.

Also at the ceremony and meeting, the Provincial People's Committee and the Department of Education and Training awarded 10 scholarships to poor students, students with difficult circumstances, who have overcome difficulties to study well.
