The competition is not only a knowledge competition playground, but also creates an environment to practice essential professional skills, creative thinking and learning spirit, important factors that help students become more confident when entering the labor market. The activity is within the framework of the Skills to Succeed Project 2025, aiming to develop professional skills associated with green thinking and sustainable development.
The contest consists of three rounds: Round 1 - Golden Bell: Contestants answer 20 multiple choice questions related to career skills and green lifestyle. The 6 teams with the highest scores advance to round 2.
Students excitedly raised their answers in the Golden Bell - Knowledge Kick-start contest.
Round 2 - Debate: 6 teams draw a topic and choose a viewpoint to defend. The judges evaluate based on argument, presentation ability, creativity and persuasiveness. The 3 best teams advance to the final.
Round 3 - Debate: Teams debate in English on the topic of vocational skills development and environmental protection to find the champion team.
Volunteers participate in audience games and receive prizes.
Mr. Vu Trung Tuan, coordinator of Save the Children, said the competition creates conditions for students to practice presentation skills, teamwork, important skills in the learning process and prepare for future careers. The Success Skills Project is currently being implemented at the Vietnam - Korea Vocational College and Ca Mau Community College, along with many other activities to enhance students' skills.
At the end of the program, the Jury awarded 1 First Prize, 1 Second Prize, 1 Third Prize and 3 Consolation Prizes to the participating teams.
