Attending the ceremony were comrade Nguyen Minh Luan, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of a number of departments, branches and sponsoring units.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Luan and leaders of provincial departments and branches attended the inauguration ceremony.

Comrade Nguyen Minh Luan, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, emphasized that modern STEM practice rooms will open up great opportunities for educational development in Ca Mau in the coming time.

The STEM education practice room is sponsored by the Vietnam National Industry and Energy Group ( Petrovietnam ), with a total cost of 3.5 billion VND. The project, put into use, helps meet the learning and research needs of teachers and students; creates an environment for students to be creative and apply knowledge into practice; and is an important step in the roadmap for fundamental and comprehensive innovation in education and promoting digital transformation in schools.

Mr. Tran Quang Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Petrovietnam Party Committee, hopes that the classroom will help each student become a nucleus in the innovation movement.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Tran Quang Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Petrovietnam Party Committee, said that Petrovietnam is not only an economic enterprise but also actively contributes to the development of national science and technology. Vo Van Kiet High School is one of three schools in Ca Mau that is supported with an international standard STEM practice room, creating conditions for the school to implement training programs at three levels, contributing to the formation of innovative nuclei in students.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Luan sincerely thanked Petrovietnam for their support and emphasized that this is the first modern STEM room in Ca Mau, opening up great opportunities for the province's educational development. He requested the Department of Education and Training to build an effective and creative operating model; the school to manage and exploit the project well, continue to improve the quality of education, worthy of the tradition of the school named after the late Prime Minister Vo Van Kiet.

On this occasion, Petrovietnam awarded 30 scholarships to disadvantaged students of the school.
