The training program, which lasted for 4 weeks from October 14 to November 8, 2024, has brought remarkable results.
At the closing ceremony, Mr. Dao Trong Tien - Vietnam Trade Attaché in Korea - shared that during the 4 weeks of practicing mold production at the Korean Mold Training Center, along with the 10-week knowledge foundation in Vietnam, the trainees actively learned and made efforts, overcoming all challenges to acquire valuable knowledge. In particular, the trainees also experienced BM (Benchmarking) activities at leading Korean enterprises, helping them access advanced technologies and enhance their vision of modern mold production.
Completing this course is not only the destination, but also an important foundation for each student to embark on a career development journey with outstanding knowledge and skills. “ I believe that, with enthusiasm and continuous efforts, students will soon become leading experts, contributing to the strong development of the Vietnamese mold industry, ” said Mr. Dao Trong Tien.
According to the Department of Industry, the mold manufacturing industry is the foundation of many key industries such as electronics, aviation, automobiles and home appliances. Recognizing the important role of this industry in developing supporting industries in Vietnam, the training program has been implemented since 2020 and has successfully trained hundreds of experts in the mold field.
In 2024, after completing the theoretical and practical training program in Hanoi , 25 students had the opportunity to access the practical training program at the Korean Mold Training Center. This training program equipped students with in-depth knowledge of mold design and production, combined with practical production practice sessions at advanced facilities in Korea. In addition, students also participated in business tours (Benchmarking) in Korea, thereby learning about modern technologies and production processes, while enhancing their creativity and innovation at work.
With the perfect combination of theory and practice, the students have successfully completed the training course, not only improving their professional qualifications but also equipping themselves with problem-solving skills, creativity and innovation in mold design and manufacturing.
This training course is not only an important step forward in the career of the trainees but also a solid foundation for the sustainable development of the mold industry in Vietnam, contributing to promoting the competitiveness of the supporting industry in the context of globalization and the 4.0 industrial revolution.
