Top 4 fixed broadband download speeds: Viettel leads, FPT is number 2, VNPT is number 3 and CMC Telecom is at the bottom

DNVN - Data from the Vietnam Internet Network Information Center (VNNIC) in July 2024 shows that the fixed broadband provider with the leading internet download speed is Viettel, ranked 2nd is FPT Telecom, ranked 3rd is VNPT and CMC Telecom is at the bottom.

According to the i-Speed internet access speed measurement system developed by the Vietnam Internet Center (VNNIC, under the Ministry of Information and Communications ), the latest data on internet quality in July 2024 has just been updated.

During the month, fixed broadband download speed in Vietnam averaged 100.28 Mbps, a slight increase compared to June (100.24 Mbps).

Average upload internet speed reached 102.34 Mbps in July, up from 101.99 Mbps the previous month.

Overall assessment in the past 3 months, fixed internet speed for both uplink and downlink remained stable, with insignificant fluctuations, at 1%.

Regarding the quality of service providers in Vietnam, i-Speed statistics show that the fixed broadband provider with the leading internet download speed in July was Viettel (128.97 Mbps), an increase of 24.68 Mbps compared to June.

Ranked 2nd is FPT Telecom (100.59 Mbps). VNPT ranked 3rd (95.82 Mbps).

CMC Telecom has lost its leading position and dropped to 4th place after 3 consecutive months of leading. Specifically, the fixed internet download speed of this enterprise in July decreased from 299.24 Mbps in June to 74.58 Mbps.

Regarding fixed broadband internet upload speed, Viettel continued to rank first with an average of 120.6 Mbps, an increase of 16.31 Mbps compared to June. Following were FPT Telecom (101.17 Mbps), CMC Telecom (87.06 Mbps), NETNAM (69.63 Mbps) and SCTV (27.59 Mbps).

VNNIC's i-Speed internet access speed measurement system is a system that helps users proactively choose measurement points, measure and self-evaluate their internet access speed according to the standards and packages provided by network operators.
