Chau Doc City officials visit and offer congratulations on the occasion of Buddha's Birthday.

On May 5th and 6th, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Chau Doc City organized two delegations to visit and congratulate on the occasion of the 2025 Buddha's Birthday Celebration. Leaders of political and social organizations of the city also participated.

The delegations visited and congratulated the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Association in Chau Doc City; and the abbots, senior monks, and nuns at 18 temples and monasteries in the area. The leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in Chau Doc City highly appreciated the contributions and support of religious dignitaries, monks, nuns, and Buddhist followers to the socio -economic development and national defense and security of the locality in the past. They also expressed their hope that in the future, the Executive Board of the Buddhist Association in Chau Doc City and the abbots of the temples will continue to encourage Buddhist followers to effectively implement the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws; actively participate in patriotic emulation movements, and contribute to building a more civilized, prosperous, and beautiful locality.
