Public kindergartens improve facilities, education quality, and create conditions for equitable access to education.
A recent World Bank survey at a workshop to consult on solutions for developing the Project "Improving the quality of preschool education in urban areas and industrial zones in the period 2025-2030, with a vision to 2045" showed that access to preschool education increases the chances of mothers finding paid employment in the formal sector.
Specifically, if women could access better-suited early childhood education services for their children, one-quarter of respondents said they would seek higher-paying jobs; one-fifth said they would work longer hours and have time to study. According to the survey, women in the poorest groups, who currently rely on informal care services, tend to express more of these intentions.
75% of mothers surveyed said they were willing to use preschool education services at kindergartens. The rate of wanting to use preschools was especially high among mothers from the poorest groups, immigrants, living near industrial zones, and having to rely on relatives to take care of their children.

The Ho Chi Minh City education and training sector always focuses on taking care of children of preschool age, especially children of workers and children whose parents work in industrial parks and export processing zones.
Ho Chi Minh City is a locality with many industrial parks and export processing zones, so having more new, spacious and modern public kindergartens is a joy for everyone. When children have a school that cares for, nurtures and educates them well, parents can rest assured to send their children to work, contributing to the sustainable development of the city.
