Violations of alcohol and drug concentrations: Resolutely eliminate drivers using stimulants while operating vehicles.
Speeding: Strictly control speed to minimize accidents caused by speeding.
Carrying goods in excess of the prescribed weight and number of people: Ensure passenger safety and avoid damage to traffic infrastructure.
Stopping, parking, picking up and dropping off passengers in the wrong places: Correcting the situation of passenger cars stopping and parking arbitrarily, causing traffic jams and danger.
Changing lanes illegally: Raise awareness of obeying traffic rules when changing lanes.
Failure to comply with traffic controller's orders: Strictly handle cases of resistance and failure to comply with orders.
Violation of driving time: Ensure drivers have enough time to rest, avoid fatigue causing unsafe conditions.
Driving a vehicle without or without an expired certificate or technical safety and environmental protection inspection stamp: Ensure the vehicle always meets safety standards.
Behaviors related to driver and vehicle conditions, journey monitoring device data, driver image recording devices: Comprehensive inspection to detect and handle violations.
For the waterway sector, the Traffic Police force will focus on handling the following violations:
Vehicle registration certificate, Technical safety and environmental protection certificate, Professional competence certificate, professional certificate: Ensure all vehicles and drivers have valid documents.
Violations in conversion and installation of additional pumping equipment: Prevent illegal conversion that causes unsafety.
Carrying beyond the safe waterline: Make sure the vehicle is not overloaded to avoid the risk of capsizing.
Violations of safety conditions on waterways, ports and wharves: Improve safety standards at points where vehicles and passengers gather.
The Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police affirmed that it has been implementing many synchronous measures to ensure traffic safety. The Traffic Police force will increase patrols and controls in "hotspot" areas and resolutely handle all violations. The inspection and handling process will promote the spirit of "rule of law", with the motto "no forbidden zones, no exceptions".
Along with the strengthening of handling violations, propaganda work is also being promoted. PC08 requires transport businesses to proactively learn and properly implement regulations on transport business conditions and traffic safety. In particular, businesses need to pay attention to training drivers and employees working on vehicles with specialized transport skills such as: Passenger management, safe loading and unloading of goods, situation handling skills, etc.
