Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc noted that the city's state budget revenue collection in 2025 achieved very positive results despite the challenging global economic environment. Even so, the city completed and exceeded its revenue target as early as November, making a significant contribution to the national budget revenue increase.

Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc emphasized that the achievements not only reflect the effectiveness of financial and budgetary management, but also the fruits of responsibility, unity, dedication, and leadership. In particular, the role of agencies directly responsible for revenue collection, such as the Tax and Customs departments, is extremely important.

Entering 2026, relevant agencies and units are required to demonstrate greater political determination and a stronger spirit of innovation in management and administration. City leaders are confident that, with their capabilities, unity, innovative thinking, and new approaches, the city's Finance sector will complete and exceed assigned tasks, striving to increase budget revenue by at least 10%, contributing to the rapid and sustainable development of the city.

At the conference, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee awarded Certificates of Commendation to 148 collectives and individuals who achieved high results in state budget revenue collection in 2025.
