The "Old Quarter Mid-Autumn Festival" has become a cultural symbol of Hoan Kiem Ward (formerly Hoan Kiem District), bearing both a strong folk mark and a modern breath.

As part of the "Mid-Autumn Festival in the Old Quarter" program, on October 3, the People's Committee of Hoan Kiem Ward (Hanoi) coordinated with the Department of Domestic Market Management and Development ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ), the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Conservation Support Fund and TikTok Vietnam to organize a livestream "Mid-Autumn Festival in the Old Quarter".

The event aims to celebrate the 71st anniversary of the Capital Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2025), welcome the Mid-Autumn Festival in 2025 and spread traditional cultural values, introduce the beauty of Hanoi Old Quarter heritage to the community, especially the youth. At the same time, this is also a new step in digital transformation, promoting heritage and developing local trade.

The entire journey was broadcast live on social networks, giving viewers a unique cultural experience: an online tour from Phung Hung Mural Space to Hang Vai and Hang Ca streets in the autumn weather; enjoying “Hanoi breakfast” with Khoi Hoi beef noodle soup and Nhi coffee – flavors associated with ancient urban life.

The livestream also took viewers to Nam Huong communal house, Bach Ma temple, 22 Hang Buom Cultural and Art Center and Kim Ngan communal house - places that preserve the quintessence of traditional crafts.

Speaking at the festival, Ms. Nguyen Hong Trang, Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoan Kiem Ward, said: The activities of the "Old Quarter Mid-Autumn Festival" in 2025 took place in the context that for the first time, the People's Committee of Hoan Kiem Ward - after arranging the 2-level government model - presided over and coordinated with businesses, schools and communities to organize many unique cultural activities.
