Since November 4th, after the floodwaters receded, Nhiên's small house has been bustling with the sounds of washing machines and dryers, and the laughter of people coming to drop off their belongings. With the support of friends and relatives, the "loving laundry and drying station" operates continuously, receiving hundreds of items of clothing and bedding soaked in mud and mold after the flood each day. Nhiên said she wanted to contribute a small part to help the people of Gò Nổi quickly restore their essential items after the natural disaster.
Besides providing free laundry services, Nhiên also appealed to benefactors to donate additional detergent, fabric softener, etc., to distribute to needy households. The program quickly spread widely and received enthusiastic support from the community. Many individuals and organizations came to the "loving laundry and drying station" to contribute materials and participate in the support.
Given this overwhelming support and widespread impact, Nhien continued to call for expanding the program to serve more households, especially those families in areas isolated after the floods outside of Go Noi commune.
Responding to the young woman's call, the Samsung Service Center at 114 Hoang Hoa Tham (Thanh Khe ward), with the direct support of Mr. Nguyen Phong, quickly transported several modern washing machines and dryers to house number 583, 610B Street, Go Noi commune, where Nhien's "loving laundry and drying station" is operating.

Thanks to this collaborative effort, laundry and drying productivity has increased many times over, helping hundreds of households in the area quickly get clean, dry clothes and bedding back. Any elderly person living alone or someone unable to work in the Go Noi area whose clothes or bedding are wet can contact the "Loving Laundry and Drying Station" for assistance.
Many young people in Go Noi commune also actively participated, going directly to the homes of elderly people living alone to collect items. The clothes and blankets were then washed, dried, and carefully folded before being handed over to the elderly.

Thanks to these simple yet meaningful actions, during rainy and stormy days, the elderly in the area no longer have to wear damp clothes after the floods. They feel warmer and more confident thanks to the sharing and heartfelt care from the young people.
Moreover, Ms. Ngoc Nhien personally connected with dozens of new mattresses and delivered them directly to elderly people living alone, helping them have a warm and clean place to sleep after the flood.
Nguyen Thi Ngoc Nhien emotionally shared: “I simply thought of helping people wash a few sets of clothes so they could have dry, warm clothes to wear during these difficult times. I never expected that this small act would receive so much attention. I hope that the 'Loving Laundry Station' will continue to spread kindness, so that after each natural disaster, we can see even more clearly the power of solidarity.”
