Since November 4, after the flood receded, Nhien’s small house has been bustling with the sound of washing machines, dryers and the laughter of people coming to leave their belongings. With the support of friends and relatives, the “loving laundry station” has been operating continuously, receiving hundreds of clothes and blankets soaked in mud and mold after the flood every day. Nhien said she wanted to contribute a small part to help the people of Go Noi quickly restore essential items after the natural disaster.
Not only does Nhien provide free laundry, he also calls on donors to support additional laundry detergent, fabric softener, etc. to distribute to disadvantaged households. The program quickly spread widely, receiving enthusiastic response from the community. Many individuals and organizations have come to the “loving laundry station” to join hands in contributing materials and participating in support.
Faced with such great support and influence, Nhien continued to call for expanding the program to serve more households, especially families in isolated areas after floods outside Go Noi commune.
Responding to the young girl's call, Samsung Warranty Center 114 Hoang Hoa Tham (Thanh Khe ward), with the direct support of Mr. Nguyen Phong, quickly transported many modern washing machines and dryers to house number 583, 610B street, Go Noi commune, where Nhien's family's "loving laundry drying station" is operating.

Thanks to this cooperation, washing and drying productivity has been increased many times, helping hundreds of households in the area to soon have clean, dry clothes and blankets again. Any lonely elderly or disabled person in the Go Noi area with wet clothes or blankets can contact the “Loving Laundry and Drying Station” for support.
Many young people in Go Noi commune also actively participated, directly going to each lonely elderly person’s house to collect things. The clothes and blankets were then washed, dried, and then carefully folded and handed to the elderly.

Thanks to these simple and meaningful actions, during rainy days, the elderly in the area no longer have to wear wet clothes after the flood. They feel warmer and more confident thanks to the sharing and caring from the young people.
Not only that, Ms. Ngoc Nhien also directly connected dozens of new mattresses, directly handed them to lonely elderly people, helping them have a warm, clean place to sleep after the flood.
Nguyen Thi Ngoc Nhien emotionally shared: “I just thought simply to help people wash a few sets of clothes, so they have dry, warm clothes to wear during difficult days. I never expected that this small act would be noticed by everyone. Hopefully, the loving laundry station will continue to be a place to spread humanity, so that after each natural disaster, we can see more clearly the power of solidarity.”
