Tran Thanh responds to news of 'cutting the role' of Negav, favoring acquaintances to act in movies

Director Tran Thanh responded to the question of "cutting the role of Negav" in the film because of his private life scandal. He denied favoring acquaintances, asserting that he invited the actor because he was suitable for the role.

Movie showcase The Guardian Quartet directed by Tran Thanh just took place in Ho Chi Minh City, gathering the cast: Le Giang, Uyen An, Le Duong Bao Lam with the three main faces: Miss Tieu Vy, Ky Duyen and actor Quoc Anh.

At the event, Tran Thanh When asked about his confidence in the film compared to other projects released at the same time, the director said he did not dare to say that the film was better than other films and that the audience would be the ones to judge the quality of the work.

"I don't know where the rumor that Negav appeared in my movie and then was cut came from? I never announced the invitation for Negav to act, so how could the role be cut?" he said.

“Even Uyen An, even though she is my younger sister, if the role is not suitable or her acting ability is not mature, I will not invite her. Up to now, I have not found a replacement for Le Giang in this type of role. As for Le Duong Bao Lam, he is skilled, creative, and works 3-4 times harder than normal people, so he deserves to be recognized,” Tran Thanh said.
